The price of the original EPSON ink cartridge is expensive, how to decrease and save the cost of printing is our concern. The ink level of EPSON intelligent cartridge is recorded in the chip IC & accurately records & controls the ink level so it can not be reused even though the empty ink cartridge is refilled and results in the high expense. This is where the Chip resetter comes useful with a system that can reset and refill the chip IC in the Epson intelligent ink cartridges, and will not change the property of the cartridge. Then the empty cartridge to be rested and refilled to full and; can be reused after the ink is refilled. The advantage of this chip resetter is that you need not remove the chip from the cartridge to reset it since it has been made with special slotting positions for each cartridge to fit.

The Epson Chip resetter system is versatile and it will automatically identify the cartridge mode to reset/refill. It is first product that it is compatible with all current Epson intelligent Ink Cartridges on the market.

OPERATION: As described in the left figure, a special notch is designed for different Epson ink cartridge in the chip resetter, the pins on the chip resetter should tightly contact with the terminal in the chip IC of the cartridge as the left-bottom figure, the LED will light up and will flash in 3~4s after the rest and it is ready for refilling.

TROUBLESHOOTING 1. The LED in the Chip Resetter does not flash Causes: a) The pins do not contact well with the terminal of the chip IC in the cartridge. b) The ink cartridge is not the original Epson ink cartridge or unlike the design of the Epson. But the chip resetter can guarantee the ink level is rested and refilled to full. 2. The quantity of printing is not good. Causes: a) Some gas is refilled into the ink cartridge when the ink is refilled. b) The quantity of ink is not good.
